Patched Monocular Acuity Screening: Heralded by ground-breaking research from several bright young ladies including Johns Hopkins Masters nurse Michelle [Clausen] Sanders and Hershey medical student Maya TsaoWu, ABCD's donated 280,000 colorful patches used on children who were going blind detected their amblyopia in time to save sight. The $42,000 has been a worth-while investment by ABCD in quality visual acuity screening. The 2020 patch is purple. | |||||
